DEA represents about 2,200 certificated professionals who work for the Davis School District in Davis County, Utah. This site is intended to serve as a resource for members, providing information on the governance of the Association, current issues, current collective bargaining agreements, contact information, as well as a link to other relevant resources.
The DEAs president is Don Paver. As president, Don is on full-time release from his classroom. He works out of the DEA office and can be reached at (801) 451-2277 or at don@dea.org. Don and the DEA staff are always available to answer questions, provide information, and give support to DEA members as they serve the public school community in Davis County.

Schools that don't score up to par on the grading system would be closed and education of their students turned over to private businesses. It's the first step to privatization, Stephenson's ultimate goal.
